- Deliver the assigned mathematics curriculum, ensuring lessons are well-planned, engaging, and aligned with educational standards
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, abilities, and needs, including ESL, gifted, and late-entry students
- Assess, record, and report on student progress, using assessment data to inform instruction
- Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, and assessment outcomes
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages problem-solving, logical thinking, and independent learning
- Collaborate with colleagues on resource development, lesson planning, and extracurricular initiatives
- Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student progress and support learning at home
- Participate in school events, competitions, and extracurricular activities to enrich student experiences
- Engage in professional development and performance management to continually improve teaching practice
- Master's degree in Mathematics with Qualified Teacher Status (B.Ed or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' proven teaching experience in mathematics at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning
