- Teach Science at GCSE and/or A Level, delivering the British curriculum to the highest standards
- Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities
- Utilize cognitive science principles and instructional strategies to enhance student understanding and retention
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and ensure curriculum continuity
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, implementing strategies to support continuous improvement
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and wider community engagement
- Contribute to professional learning communities, engaging in StepLab coaching and other development programs
- Uphold GEMS Education values and promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent secondary teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching the British curriculum - Science at GCSE and/or A Level
- Strong subject knowledge and commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning
- Minimum 2 years' teaching experience in a high-performing school environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
