- Develop and deliver engaging lessons covering cooking techniques, nutrition, baking, international cuisines, and food safety
- Instruct students on professional kitchen equipment usage, knife skills, and food preparation methods
- Demonstrate and guide students in meal planning, plating, and presentation techniques
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized kitchen classroom environment
- Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support skill development
- Organize and supervise culinary events, competitions, and catering projects
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum aligns with industry standards and trends
- Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and maintain budget control
- Stay current with health regulations, culinary innovations, and best teaching practices
- Degree and certification in Home Economics, Hospitality, or a Science-related field
- Minimum 5 years' professional culinary experience; teaching or training experience preferred
- Current food safety certification such as ServSafe
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to maintain discipline and high safety standards in a hands-on learning environment
