- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to support smart city services such as IoT, data analytics, 5G, AI, and cloud platforms.
- Conduct high-level solution design and architecture planning to meet functional technical and operational requirements.
- Identify technology trends and innovations relevant to smart city projects and assess their potential impact.
- Prepare detailed cost analysis for technology solutions, including total cost of ownership (TCO) and ROI assessments.
- Conduct comparative analysis of available technologies to determine the most suitable solutions for defined services.
- Support on business cases to justify technology investments and present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand service catalog requirements and map them to appropriate technology solutions.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with strategic goals and operational needs of the smart city framework.
- Act as a technical expert and advisor to business and technical teams.
- Collaborate with solution providers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
- Support stakeholder engagements by presenting technical strategies, solution designs, and feasibility analyses.
- Conduct global benchmarking and research to identify best practices in smart city technology adoption.
- Stay informed about technological advancements, regulatory changes, and market trends.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 8-10 years of experience in solution architecture, technology consulting, or smart city projects.
- Proficient in evaluating emerging technologies and conducting solution design for large-scale urban projects.
- Strong understanding of IoT, data platforms, cloud computing, AI, and telecommunications technologies.
- Experience in cost estimation, technology comparison, and vendor assessment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications in Solution Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with smart city frameworks, ITU-T guidelines, or IoT reference architectures.
- Familiarity with agile methodology and project management practices (PMP or equivalent certification is a plus).
