- Design, implement, and support ISP-grade data center network infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper structured cabling systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and data center interconnectivity to ensure high availability.
- Deploy and maintain Corning, Panduit, and Commscope certified cabling solutions according to OEM guidelines.
- Perform fiber splicing, OTDR testing, certification, and documentation of cabling systems.
- Manage rack layouts, patch panels, labeling, and structured cable routing in data centers.
- Ensure compliance with TIA/EIA, BICSI, and ISO/IEC data center cabling standards.
- Collaborate with network operations, facilities, and vendor teams to support expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
- Conduct network performance monitoring, fault isolation, and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and reports for audits and compliance.
- Support 24/7 mission-critical data center operations, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer in ISP or Data Center environments.
- Mandatory OEM Certifications:
- Corning Certified (Fiber Optic Systems)
- Panduit Certified (Structured Cabling)
- Commscope Certified (Network Infrastructure Solutions)
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
- Hands-on expertise with fiber optic cabling, copper cabling, splicing, and OTDR testing.
- Knowledge of data center standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute, BICSI).
- Familiarity with NOC tools, monitoring systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, 24/7 mission-critical environments.
