Mark Williams is currently working with a leading bank in Dubai that is seeking an IT Governance Manager to lead and manage the Quality Management and IT Governance functions within the IT department. The role focuses on ensuring policy compliance, risk mitigation, audit readiness, and driving continuous improvement in alignment with ISO and industry standardsResponsibilities:- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and templates aligned with ISO/IMS standards
- Oversee Quality Management Systems, ensuring documentation control and audit compliance
- Establish and monitor an effective IT Control Framework covering general and security controls
- Identify and mitigate IT risks through structured assessments and control measures
- Lead internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations
- Support IT strategic initiatives including budgeting, PMO participation, and governance forums
- Drive team competency development, engagement, and customer satisfaction improvements
- Coordinate with business continuity and disaster recovery effortsRequirements:- 8-9 years overall in IT or business-related functions with 3 years specific to IT Governance, Risk, or Quality Management
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or Computer Applications
- ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 / ISO 20000 Lead Auditor
- ITIL Foundation
- COBIT (Foundation or higher)
