Job Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and gas monitoring as required.
- Ensure effective implementation of permit-to-work systems across projects.
- Monitor compliance with OH&S requirements and project-specific safety plans.
- Promote safety awareness and positive safety culture through campaigns and training.
- Participate in accident investigations and prepare root cause analysis reports.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and contractors on safety-related issues.
- Implement and monitor occupational health, safety, and environmental systems.
- Assist in employee safety briefings and training sessions.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
- Provide assistance to the Emergency Response Team during emergencies.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualification; engineering degree in HSE or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Inspector or in a similar role.
- Background in ship repair, rig repair/conversion, or offshore construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety management systems, tools, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Knowledge of regulatory and legal standards related to occupational health and safety.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
