- Prepare a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation in line with the resort's standards.
- Assist in menu planning and the development of new recipes while considering guest feedback and food trends.
- Manage your designated section of the kitchen, overseeing junior staff and ensuring consistency in food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other chefs to coordinate food services and special events.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and develop innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or resort environment.
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in various cooking techniques.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring junior staff.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to fluctuating workloads.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a resort setting.
