- Assist with the milking process of dairy cows, ensuring that all procedures are followed for hygiene and animal welfare.
- Feed and water livestock according to established schedules and nutritional standards.
- Clean and maintain barns, pens, and milking areas to ensure a healthy environment for the animals.
- Monitor the health and behavior of the animals, reporting any concerns to the farm manager.
- Assist with breeding and calving processes as required.
- Help in the maintenance of farm equipment and tools.
- Support the farm team in various tasks and projects as directed by the farm supervisor or manager.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all farm employees.
- No prior experience in dairy farming is necessary; training will be provided.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A strong commitment to animal welfare and the quality of work.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
