- Oversee maintenance of barns, milking parlors, feeding areas, fences, and water systems.
- Ensure proper operation of farm machinery such as tractors, feeders, and milking equipment.
- Schedule and perform regular inspections and repairs on farm infrastructure and equipment.
- Manage waste disposal, drainage, and manure systems to ensure farm cleanliness.
- Supervise farm maintenance staff, assign tasks, and monitor daily operations.
- Train workers on equipment handling, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, equipment usage, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and technical support.
- Monitor and maintain livestock support systems including ventilation, heating, and hydration.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance across all farm operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in Dairy farm equipment maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Should have technical degree or Previous maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of farm equipment repair, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physical labour. Understanding of livestock care and farm sanitation best practices.
- Must have experience handling the following, but not limited to:
- Farm Tractors
- Shovel
- Tractor attachment like scraper , pusher
