- Lead and manage dedicated teams across servers, cloud, networking, Kubernetes, and database platforms.
- Define an infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and security.
- Oversee cloud adoption and migration initiatives, optimizing multi-cloud (Oracle, AWS, Azure) environments.
- Establish and enforce policies, standards, and best practices for system administration, database management, and networking.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure, cloud services, and licensing.
- Ensure high availability and performance of Windows/Linux servers, databases, and network infrastructure.
- Oversee deployment and management of Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
- Drive automation, monitoring, and observability practices across infrastructure and cloud services.
- Implement and maintain security controls, compliance standards, and data protection measures.
- Coordinate incident response, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
- Mentor and develop team leads and technical specialists in server, networking, cloud, Kubernetes, and database domains.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the IT infrastructure teams.
- Provide training and growth opportunities to build internal expertise across emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3+ years in a managerial/leadership role.
- Proven experience managing multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle).
- Strong background in Windows/Linux server administration, networking, Kubernetes, and enterprise databases.
- Expertise in virtualization (Proxmox, KVM, VMware, Hyper-V), storage, and backup solutions.
- Strong knowledge of database platforms (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, CouchDB).
- Experience with Kubernetes (on-prem and cloud-managed).
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
- Understanding of IT security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead diverse technical teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management capabilities.
- Infrastructure uptime and reliability (SLA adherence).
