Job Description:Apt Resources is excited to announce an opening for an IT Supervisor at a prestigious luxury resort in the Red Sea. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of all IT services within the resort, overseeing hardware and software installations, network management, and providing technical support to staff and guests. Your expertise in current technology trends and excellent leadership skills will be key in fostering a proactive IT environment that enhances the guest experience and supports operational excellence.Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the IT team, guiding them in daily operations and project implementations.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware and software systems.
  • Ensure network security, backup processes, and disaster recovery strategies are effectively executed.
  • Deliver high-quality technical support to both staff and guests as required.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects and upgrades.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and monitor expenditure against budget.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance operational capabilities.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding IT performance and challenges.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in IT roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
  • Strong knowledge of network systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software applications.
  • Experience in both Windows and macOS environments is essential.
  • Familiarity with IT security protocols and disaster recovery planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Proficiency in both English and any additional language(s) is an advantage.
