- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in machinery.
- Ensure all equipment complies with safety and health regulations.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and reports of any issues.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with kitchen and laundry staff to understand operational needs and concerns.
- Assist in the training of staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Proven experience as a Mechanic in a hospitality environment, specifically with laundry and kitchen equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with kitchen and laundry teams.
- Technical certification or relevant qualifications in maintenance or engineering is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment.
