- Providing end-to-end operational human resources support across the UAE and the Middle East, covering all aspects of generalist HR

- Recruiting talent to join our high-performing team in the region
- Lead the development and implementation of appropriate HR policies and practices across the region
- Develop effective relationships with team members and team leads to promote positive employee relations throughout the organization to ensure a high level of employee satisfaction and engagement
- Investigate employee relations issues, working with appropriate internal and external parties to address and resolve
- Provide 1-1 and group coaching on talent management, effective communication, performance improvement, and conflict resolution
- Serve as a subject matter expert and business liaison on all things HR in the region
- Oversee and coordinate daily office operations, including visitors, swag, travel reimbursements, and insurance
- Support logistics for events in the region
- Organize local company events
- Other duties as assigned by local leadership or US-based People team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- 5+ years of relevant HR experience in the UAE
- Thorough understanding of HR best practices and labor/visa laws in the UAE, including the Wages Protection System and local payroll processes
- Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues
- Proficient in G-Suite programs, Microsoft Office, HRIS tools, and scheduling platforms.
- Experience with talent mapping and an understanding of local talent pools
- Proven track record of consultative HR experience and working autonomously
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Organized in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
- Adaptability to a constantly changing environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Experience in a start-up environment
