- Identifies, recommends and assists in the execution of improvements to the equipment, procedures, and test methods and data analysis.
- Participates in the design and builds and assembles prototype chemical process equipment and sub-assemblies, including plumbing and electrical components.
- Installs and de-installs equipment involving various manufacturing equipment and electrical expansions. Uses drawings and sketches.
- Assists engineers in developing, improving and testing system automation and electrical processes, chemical plant processes and equipment.
- Repairs and maintains prototype chemical processing equipment. Calibrates and tests testing equipment. Maintains preventive maintenance schedule.
- Documents technical specifications and updates manuals.
- Works on special projects as assigned.
- Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001® technical specification, as applicable to the site/region. What You Will Bring to Cabot:
