Deutsche Bank’s STEF department is a world-class arranger of Structured Trade & Export Finance globally and is a market leader in the MEA region.STEF’s principal product in the Middle East & African region is Export Credit Agency and Multi-Lateral Agency supported finance. That’s why we are committed to providing an environment with your development and wellbeing at its center.You can expect:Life InsuranceAccidental Death InsurancePermanent Partial Disability InsurancePrivate Medical Insurance for you, your spouse and dependent childrenFlexible working arrangements30 days of annual paid leave, plus public holiday & Flexible Working ArrangementDB contributions to DIFC Employee Workplace Savings (DEWS)Your key responsibilities:Support to the STEF Dubai team in the origination of new business opportunities which may involve the marketing, pricing, structuring and execution of new export finance facilitiesInvolved in the identification of new business opportunities and the preparation of pitch documents, presentations to clients and calculating transaction KPIs and all other risk/rewards returns.The assessment and management of financial and non financial risk in close-cooperation with control and 2nd functions is another key responsibility. This includes preparation of applications and presentations of transactions to the relevant decision forums such as Deal Councils, Decision Fora and Reputational Risk Committees.Once mandates are secured, responsibility for all aspects of transaction execution, including but not limited to negotiations with borrowers and suppliers, managing the credit approval process, and undertaking documentation and legal due diligence with external law firms and drafting the loan documentation.Management and monitoring of the transactions with any counterparties such as clients, banking partners and the supplier during the life of the loan.Responsible for some assigned buyer markets and key client franchise of STEF businessClose co-ordination with the global STEF networks and other Deutsche Bank Corporate Bank and Investment Bank business lines as well as relevant infrastructure functions during the origination and execution of new deals.Your skills and experience:A degree from a recognised university, Business / Finance or Law.Excellent communication skills in English.
