Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:HSE Policy and Compliance:Develop, implement, and maintainHSE policiesin line with local and international regulations.Ensure compliance withOSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other industry safety standards.Conduct site inspections andrisk assessmentsto identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.Safety Training and Awareness:Develop and deliversafety training programsfor site workers and management teams.Promotesafety awareness campaignsand ensure all employees understand HSE procedures.Conducttoolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency response drills.Incident Investigation and Reporting:Lead investigations ofaccidents, near-misses, and safety violations; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.Preparedetailed reportson incidents, non-compliance issues, and improvements.Ensure all incidents are properly documented and reported to management and authorities as required.Site Inspections and Audits:Conductregular safety audits and inspectionsto identify potential hazards.Monitorhigh-risk activitiessuch as working at heights, confined spaces, and heavy equipment operations.Ensure proper use ofPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)and compliance with safety procedures.Emergency Preparedness and Response:Develop and implementemergency response plansfor construction sites.Coordinate with emergency services and conductevacuation drills.Ensure availability offirst aid facilities, fire-fighting equipment, and emergency communication systems.Documentation and Reporting:MaintainHSE records, safety reports, and regulatory compliance documentation.Provideregular updatesand reports to senior management on HSE performance.Ensure allpermits, licenses, and approvalsrelated to safety are in place.Qualifications and Skills:Education:Bachelor's degreein Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certificationsare required.Experience:8+ yearsof experience as anHSE Managerin theconstruction industry.Company DescriptionGardinia stands as a premier force in residential and commercial construction in Dubai.
