- Support the implementation of quality control procedures on marine repair or shipbuilding projects
- Conduct inspections during fabrication, welding, and fitting stages
- Assist in identifying and reporting non-conformities and suggest corrective actions
- Coordinate with the project, production, and inspection teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform material inspections and prepare relevant documentation (ITPs, MIRs, WPS, etc.)
- Help maintain QA/QC documentation and records for audits and client submissions
- Work under the guidance of senior QAQC engineers and participate in client/internal audits
- Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in marine repair, shipbuilding, or maintenance (UAE or home country)
- Basic understanding of QA/QC procedures and inspection tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of welding, fitting, and fabrication standards used in the marine industry
- Familiarity with ISO/QMS systems is a plus
- Willing to relocate/work in Dubai
