This role supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations, supervising team members, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining efficient communication with other departments. - Supervise and delegate duties to front office team members, preparing and managing weekly work schedules.
- Ensure proper room allocation, verify guest details, and confirm payment methods.
- Monitor team attendance, manage leave calendars, and ensure adequate staffing.
- Suggest operational improvements to enhance service standards.
- Plan and organize regular training sessions on courtesy, efficiency, and job knowledge.
- Maintain effective communication and cooperation between the front office and other departments.
- Oversee night shift operations, ensuring completion of reports, system checks, and date changes as per standards.
- Liaise with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and guest requirements are met.
- Review reservation details prior to guest arrivals and update Opera system as needed.
- Conduct daily briefings and personally check special room requests before guest arrivals.
- Handle and resolve guest complaints while anticipating needs to deliver personalized service.
- Ensure guest records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Proven leadership experience in a front office or guest services supervisory role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and Opera PMS.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
