Job Type: Full-timeWhat You'll Do
- Act as the HSSEQ representative in client meetings, authority liaison, and external forums
- Lead and motivate HSSE team members to deliver effective safety and compliance support
- Set and monitor annual KPIs that align with group and regional safety targets
- Participate in vessel- and shore-based safety meetings to encourage open dialogue and management engagement
- Induct employees and crew on company HSSEQ policies, procedures, and safe working practices
- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across all locations and departments
- Support and implement the company's Self-Verification Program (SVP) to drive continual improvement
- Collect, analyze, and submit regional performance data to Group HSSEQ; implement corrective or enhancement actions based on trends
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of HSSEQ data to clients as required
- Oversee compliance with ISM, ISPS, MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS, and other maritime safety standards and regulations
- Conduct internal audits and incident investigations to improve quality and safety systems
- Professional qualification or certification in QHSSE (NEBOSH preferred)
- DPA and CSO qualifications advantageous
- 5+ years of experience developing and implementing HSSEQ programs, ideally in offshore supply vessels or maritime operations
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001 standards
- Experience with client-facing safety requirements and promoting HSE culture
- Background as a mariner preferred
- Excellent knowledge of statutory regulations and safety codes for vessel operations
- Strong communication, leadership, and incident investigation skills
