Job Type: Full-timeWhat You'll Do
- Carry out routine and non-routine ICSS maintenance in compliance with ADNOC standards and vendor procedures.
- Monitor ICSS networks, hardware, controllers, I/O modules, servers, and communication links, analyzing failures and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide technical support to operators and engineers during plant or equipment trips and failures, ensuring root cause analysis is conducted.
- Conduct periodic ICSS system backups, support disaster recovery plans, and maintain backup/restore procedures.
- Identify hardware and software lifecycle needs, plan and execute ICSS upgrades, and implement vendor-recommended fixes and updates.
- Manage ICSS system access, administrator rights, and password controls in line with ADNOC cybersecurity guidelines.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, SIL studies, FAT, IFAT, SAT, and commissioning of new ICSS projects or upgrades.
- Analyze process and system alarms, conduct alarm rationalization workshops, and maintain master alarm databases.
- Implement and monitor OT cybersecurity safeguards across industrial systems, detecting threats and maintaining compliance with ADNOC standards.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE policies, hazard assessments, PTW requirements, and emergency response roles.
- Supervise assigned staff, provide training, and ensure continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams (instrument, operations, electrical, mechanical, HSE).
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in instrument maintenance, including 5 years in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong expertise in DCS/PLC systems, architectures, communication protocols, and ICSS industry standards.
- Proficiency in system upgrades, alarm management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Solid understanding of OT cybersecurity measures for industrial control systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and supervisory skills.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
