As the first and last point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm and memorable dining experience.   • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring an exceptional first impression
  • Manage reservations and distribute them fairly among servers according to the floor plan
  • Handle phone inquiries politely and provide accurate information about menus, promotions, and special events
  • Record and manage special requests such as VIP, birthdays, and anniversaries
  • Support servers and runners when required to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, following hotel hygiene and HACCP standards
  • Take responsibility for cashiering duties as required
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to feedback and escalating complaints to supervisors when necessary
  • Provide general information about the restaurant and the city to assist guests with their dining experience
  • Deliver a courteous farewell to all departing guests to leave a lasting positive impression
Ideal Profile
  • Previous customer service experience required; prior F&B experience is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written; Arabic is a plus
  • Familiarity with reservation platforms such as Open Table is an asset
  • Pro Serve certification required
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays
