- Conduct patient evaluations to assess physical, psychological, and environmental factors affecting daily life.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks through therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
- Educate patients and families on proper care, exercises, and the use of adaptive equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in medical records.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Provide emotional support and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy.
- Monitor and manage patient equipment, ensuring all necessary supplies are available for effective therapy.
- DOH Eligibility or Active licensed Occupational Therapist is a must.
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, adaptive equipment, and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and handle multiple cases.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and relevant software.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi healthcare regulations and standards.
- Immediate availability preferred.
