Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Import/Export Executive (or Manager) to manage and oversee international trade operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, coordinating shipments, handling documentation, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, and customs authorities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of import/export laws, logistics, and documentation processes.Key Responsibilities:· Coordinate and manage the end-to-end import/export processes for goods, including shipping, documentation, and customs clearance.· Ensure compliance with all international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.· Prepare and verify shipping and customs documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export/import declarations.· Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.· Track and monitor shipments and resolve any logistics or customs-related issues.· Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions and documentation for auditing and compliance.· Negotiate shipping rates and service contracts with freight and logistics providers.· Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, sales, finance, warehouse) to align import/export activities with business operations.· Keep up to date with international trade trends, tariffs, restrictions, and documentation changes.· Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and trade operations.Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.· 2–5 years (Executive) or 5–8 years (Manager) of experience in import/export operations, logistics, or supply chain.· Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, HS codes, and trade compliance.· Proficient in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP).· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.· Strong organizational and time-management skills.· Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple international shipments simultaneously.
