The Payment Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payment lifecycle for factory-related transactions. This includes certification follow-ups, documentation control, financial coordination, and reporting for material procurement and production disbursements. A strong background in construction material workflows and factory supply chain knowledge is required to ensure effective collaboration with procurement, QS, and finance teams.Key Responsibilities
- Manage payments for raw materials, factory equipment, subcontractors, and service providers
- Maintain accurate payment logs including certification and approval tracking
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain necessary documentation supporting payment processing
- Liaise with Quantity Surveying and commercial teams to validate payment certifications
- Report payment status and updates to the commercial or payment control manager
- Coordinate with finance departments to ensure timely disbursements
- Support documentation for statutory authority-related payments where applicable
- Ensure all disbursements align with procurement schedules and production workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in payment processing within factories or construction material supply
- Industry background in stone, aluminum, joinery, or building material production preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel; working knowledge of XPEDION or SAP is required
- Strong documentation, coordination, and ERP-based reporting skills
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
