WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Develop and execute the regional procurement and sourcing plan aligned with Mammoet’s global procurement strategy, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead high-value supplier negotiations and contract management to secure competitive terms, maintain compliance with legal and operational requirements, and uphold up-to-date supplier agreements.
- Source, evaluate, and manage a diverse portfolio of regional suppliers and subcontractors, monitoring key performance indicators, delivery, and compliance to foster strategic partnerships.
- Provide regular procurement performance reports, highlight savings, assess risks, and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards. Support audit and risk management processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the regional procurement team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing while applying Mammoet’s performance and talent development frameworks.
- Oversee procurement systems and administrative functions, ensuring data accuracy, process improvements, and compliance with company procedures.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in procurement, ideally in a regional or project-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CIPS is preferred.
- Expert-level proficiency in: Strategic sourcing and negotiation; Legal and contractual affairs; Procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle)
- Supplier relationship management
- Professional competency in: Financial and project management; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written); additional language such as Arabic skills are advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
