- Ensure compliance with global and national export control laws and internal Bosch policies.
- Act as the local expert for export control and sanctions topics in Middle East.
- Support Bosch entities in Middle East countries in their dealings with customs and export control authorities.
- Monitor and assess changes in Middle East countries export control legislation and their impact on Bosch operations.
- Coordinate with central ECO teams and escalate red flags or legal uncertainties.
- Review and approve business activities involving dual-use goods, military items, or embargoed destinations.
- Conduct risk assessments and support license applications with related Middle East country authorities.
- Review and negotiate export control clauses in contracts (e.g. no re-export clauses).
- Organize awareness sessions and trainings for associates.
- Document all export control checks and decisions.
- A key role in a strategic compliance function with international exposure.

- Support internal and external audits in Middle East.
- Education: University degree in law, business administration, international trade, or a related field
- Experience: Several years of experience in export control, foreign trade law, or compliance
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of EU and US export control regulations, Middle East countries foreign trade law, and sanctions regimes
- Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset
- Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken), Arabic is optional
