Electrical Inspector - Infrastructure Projects - Dubai, UAE

• Perform inspections on LV networks, street lighting, traffic signals, and pumping station systems
• Conduct electrical and mechanical testing to verify contract compliance
• Validate electrical installations, grounding systems, and circuit integrity
• Carry out inspections of underground piping, pressure tests, and P&ID checks
• Monitor painting, insulation, and finishing work to ensure standards are met
• Verify alignment and balancing of electrical equipment and systems
• Prepare and contribute to quality control documentation and inspection reports
• Support job safety practices and contribute to the development of safety reports
• Provide oversight of subcontracted tasks to ensure workmanship quality
• Participate in welder qualification tests and other technical evaluations as needed

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years minimum)
• Minimum 7 years' experience in construction inspections, preferably within Dubai or the Gulf region
• Strong knowledge of LV networks, street lighting, pumping stations, stormwater, and sewerage systems
• Familiarity with Dubai authorities such as DEWA and Dubai Municipality is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with project teams
• Proven track record in infrastructure inspection and compliance monitoring
