- Plan, organize, and control all joinery manufacturing activities.
- Ensure production schedules are met and align with project timelines.
- Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes for joinery products.
- Lead and manage factory staff, including supervisors, carpenters, machinists, and other personnel.
- Set performance standards and conduct regular evaluations.
- Provide training and mentorship to improve team skills and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to deliver high-standard products.
- Conduct inspections to ensure all production complies with specifications and requirements.
- Address and resolve any production defects or issues.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and consumables.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely supply of materials and tools.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Enforce safety standards and practices within the factory.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety drills.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are well-maintained and safely operated.
- Liaise with project teams, designers, and clients to ensure product specifications are met.
- Collaborate with site teams to coordinate delivery and installation of joinery products.
- Prepare and present reports on production status, challenges, and improvements.
- Identify opportunities for improving manufacturing processes and factory efficiency.
- Introduce new technologies or methods to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Monitor market trends and advancements in joinery to maintain competitive standards.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Wood Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 15-20 years in joinery production, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of joinery processes, machinery, materials, and finishes.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a factory setting.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal coordination and client interactions.
- Ability to address challenges efficiently and implement practical solutions.
