- Prepare surfaces for painting and wallcovering by cleaning, sanding, and repairing imperfections
- Apply paints, stains, and wall coverings accurately and efficiently using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Mix paints and materials to achieve precise colors and finishes
- Install and apply various types of wall coverings, including vinyl, fabric, and specialty finishes
- Ensure all work meets the resort's aesthetic standards and timelines
- Collaborate with design teams and other tradespeople to achieve project goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations
- Proven experience as a Painter/Wallcoverer, preferably in the hospitality industry or high-end residential projects
- Strong knowledge of painting and wallcovering techniques, materials, and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and design plans
- Strong physical stamina for performing manual tasks and lifting
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational or technical training preferred.
