We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and preparing products for shipment by ensuring that packaging is done accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Assemble packaging components (boxes, bags, labels, etc.) based on production specifications.Pack and wrap finished goods in a neat and secure manner, ensuring all items are correctly labeled.Inspect products for any defects or damages before packaging.Ensure proper handling and placement of fragile or sensitive materials.Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations.Record production data, including quantities packed and any discrepancies.Perform routine checks on packaging equipment and report any issues to maintenance staff.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.Assist with inventory control by tracking packaging materials and reporting low stock.Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., Quality Control, Shipping) to ensure timely product delivery.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Previous experience in packaging or assembly (preferred).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [XX] lbs).Good manual dexterity and ability to work with various packaging materials.Basic math skills for counting and measuring items.Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team setting.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting production goals.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with automated packaging machinery.Forklift certification (if applicable).Knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.Working Conditions:The role involves standing for long periods.Requires working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection may be required.Compensation:Competitive salary, based on experience.Benefits include [health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, etc.].
