This critical leadership role will oversee the development and implementation of IT governance frameworks, compliance structures, and vendor oversight across the organisation. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will act as a strategic advisor on risk, control, and regulatory alignment.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive IT governance frameworks.
  • Oversee compliance management, IT service continuity, security governance, and vendor contract administration.
  • Collaborate closely with internal audit, risk, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and control effectiveness.
  • Lead and develop governance teams spanning four key domains.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the CIO on risk management, control posture, and regulatory requirements.

  • Extensive experience in IT governance, risk, and compliance, ideally within banking or financial services.
  • Background in Big 4 consulting (e.g. EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte) with a strong understanding of governance frameworks and regulatory alignment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement governance frameworks and manage multi-domain teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across audit, risk, and regulatory functions.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent advisory capabilities at senior leadership levels.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, COBIT) and knowledge of regulatory environments are advantageous
