Job Description:Apt Resources is excited to announce the opportunity for a Houseman at a luxury resort located on the stunning Red Sea. This position is ideal for someone passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the resort. As a Houseman, you will ensure that public areas and guest accommodations meet the resort's standards, contributing to a memorable experience for all visitors.Your primary focus will be on cleaning and maintaining the resort facilities, assisting with laundry services, and supporting the housekeeping team to ensure seamless operations. We are looking for a proactive individual who possesses a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas including lobbies, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
  • Assist housekeeping staff with the cleaning of guest rooms and suites as needed.
  • Manage laundry services, ensuring linens and towels are washed, dried, and put away efficiently.
  • Respond swiftly and efficiently to guest requests and needs, demonstrating a high level of customer service.
  • Report maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas to the maintenance team.
  • Ensure all supplies and equipment are restocked and stored properly.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of events or functions, as required.
  • Participate in training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the housekeeping management team.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar Houseman or housekeeping position in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Housekeeping, or Facility Services is preferred
