- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from internal and external sources to ensure data quality and readiness for analysis.
- Perform statistical analysis and generate insights that help inform corporate strategy, business planning, and operational improvements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Work closely with business units and strategy leaders to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Support key performance indicator (KPI) tracking and benchmarking efforts across multiple departments.
- Analyze business processes and performance data to identify areas of improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor data to support business development and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure data security, compliance, and best practices in data management.
- Assist in scenario modeling, forecasting, and budgeting exercises based on data-driven assumptions.
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support for strategic initiatives, board presentations, and executive reporting.
- Automate recurring reports and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain data documentation and ensure consistency in terminology and metric definitions across reports.
- Conduct root-cause analyses to help stakeholders understand underlying trends and anomalies in datasets.
- Train business users on self-service analytics tools and promote data literacy within the organization.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an advantage.
- Certifications in data analytics or BI tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or Google Analytics) are preferred.
- Proficient in data analysis, statistics, and visualization tools and techniques.
- Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with business intelligence platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data governance principles.
- Ability to interpret and present complex data in a simple and meaningful way for business stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
