- Contribute to continuous development of analytical, data and platform solutions which are aligned to global frameworks and with a focus on Emerging Markets data needs, analytics platform harmonization towards global standards and Emerging Markets nuances.
- Manage demand for insights and analytics. Conduct collection, tracking, mining and analysis of data and the generation of fact-based insights using multiple data sources.
- Provide analytical and technical services to stakeholders within Emerging Markets.
- Execute assigned projects in areas such as analytics implementation, database integration, data management, data quality, data harmonization, etc.
- Support the implementation of strategies for data accessibility, management, quality, and the overall availability of data.
- Present and promote analysis results and insights to colleagues at all levels, including senior stakeholders, in a way that allows them to understand the value of your work, apply your output, and realize business potential.
- You see opportunities and provide solutions for data process enhancements and automation.
- Takes responsibility for understanding business users requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution.
- Identifies, evaluates, and recommends options, implementing if required.
- Collaborates and facilitates with stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy agreements. Identify business gaps and come with solutions towards a more efficient way of working
- Seeks to fully address users needs, enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of users, by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited.
- Co-initiate and help implement new reporting structures or refine existing structures within your area of responsibility in alignment with Market and Global Analytics Frameworks and Data Governance.
- Help distill best practice guidance from other markets and other adidas stakeholders to maximize the use of analytics capabilities within Emerging Markets.
- Take ownership of business intelligence by providing self-service reporting solutions to other teams as well as creating awareness of the state of the business by highlighting key focus areas to senior management.
- Investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.
- Drive acceptance tests in order to assure that market requirements and sync with business needs
- Build a strong internal and external network and contribute to the growth and development of the Emerging Markets Analytics community.
- Deliver a state-of-the-art analytical services that will result in a data savvy and driven organization.
- Building Data Products, Analytics solutions, BI and Reporting tools
- Coaching and training around analytical products and solution
- Product Owner and POC for Business application, management and maintenance
- Data & Analytics Organization (DNA)
- Emerging Markets business functions (SCM, Finance, Brand Marketing, eCom, Business Development, Wholesale/Retail)
- Local and Global IT
- University degree in the field of Business, Information Technology or equivalent
- >5 years of experience in data management and analytics
- Proficient spoken and written command of English is a must
- Experience in working in a diverse and global team preferable
- A passion for delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results.
- Experience with analytics tools and disciplines (SQL, Python, database management ..) and with BI tool management (Microstrategy, PowerBI, Tableau .. - Power BI knowledge preferred).
- Advanced technical statistical methods and analytic techniques – experience with and expertise in:
- Large dataset manipulation and data mining.
- Statistical analysis in business context: regression, predictive modelling, segmentation/cluster analysis, etc.
- Project management skills, including the ability to lead projects or work on several projects simultaneously
- Solid business sense and critical-thinking ability – able to solve problems using both conventional judgment and ad-hoc analysis
- Mature and credible interpersonal skills– able to quickly build trust among all management levels and act as an influencer across the organization.
- Entrepreneurial – proactively defines goals and attacks them with creativity.
- Willingness to learn – a drive to learn about all aspects of the business and develop general management competency.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely.
