- Oversee the O&M contracts for parks in the Al Dhafra Region, ensuring the application of best practices to achieve operational goals.
- Manage and monitor contract timelines, budgets, and staffing, while providing guidance to contractors and staff.
- Communicate with architects and engineers, incorporating their insights into project drawings.
- Ensure final designs comply with Emirate regulations and approved manuals.
- Identify and document changes in project scope.
- Identify and communicate potential design issues to the team.
- Determine the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for technical aspects of the contract, and monitor progress.
- Review work to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures, and ensure quality is acceptable.
- Conduct performance evaluations and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project.
- Ensure client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
- Expedite the distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Managers.
- Prepare technical reports, project manuals, and documentation of activities for the client and project management.
- Obtain, analyze, and circulate technical and contractual information to project disciplines.
- Notify project management and other affected personnel of all changes.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered as a Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer, or a similar professional designation preferrable
- At least 15 years of post-graduate experience in the design, site supervision, and construction management of large-scale EPC water transmission and distribution projects, preferably with prior experience in the UAE or Gulf region.
- Minimum of 5 years as Civil Resident Engineer in EPC water transmission or distribution projects.
- Proven expertise in constructing civil infrastructure such as pumping stations, concrete reservoirs/tanks, roads, chambers, micro tunneling crossings, pipelines, and related structures.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a large, multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Capable of managing and coordinating specialized activities, disciplines, or teams of moderate size and complexity.
- Expertise in the development of advanced technical concepts.
- Provides specialized services to meet project requirements.
- Ability to handle highly complex assignments independently, utilizing specialized engineering principles.
