Job description:Requisition Number: 23316BRDescription:Description:The role involves working on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring.This role will be based in Dubai.Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for overall site Safety health and environment management.
  • Shall prepare site safety plan & procedures for site and implement safety policy.
  • Shall conduct safety meetings at least once every month and conduct the site safety Audit and report that to the management.
  • Health and safety supervisors conduct safety Training and other necessary training as fit by the management.
  • Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections and documents them for reference. Consult with workers and management on the best approach to deliver a safe working environment for all workers.
  • Conduct risk assessment program for the site work activities.
  • Conduct Audit for the site, contractor and sub-contractor, Raise NCR, Accident, Incident Report.
  • Client Service Management
-Internal and external client liaison-Ability to build and maintain safety environment at site.-Experience in infra project HSE supervision Management.
  • Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
  • Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
  • Maintain the health and safety environment at workplace.
Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.Minimum Ten (10) years of experience in a safety role.Experience with Water utilities work.Certification in NEBOSH General/ Construction Certificate or equivalent, OSHAD - Qudorat official RegistrationNakheel experience is preferred.About Stantec:We’re active members of the communities we serve.
