- Lead and manage the Arabic and Islamic Department , including curriculum planning, teacher supervision, and professional development.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of all students while adhering to British curriculum guidelines.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies .
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching methods and student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to teachers.
- Organize and participate in cultural and religious events, such as Islamic celebrations and Arabic language contests.
- Stay informed about current educational practices and trends in Arabic Language and Islamic Studies .
- Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language , Islamic Education, BED or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Teaching certification or diploma from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching Arabic Language and Islamic studies , with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the British curriculum and its integration with Arabic Language and Islamic studies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership.
- Proficiency in both Modern Standard Arabic and Classical Arabic.
- Familiarity with contemporary issues in Islamic education.
