- Provide strategic direction for multiple utility-scale energy projects, from feasibility to commissioning.
- Oversee execution of solar, thermal, and hybrid power plant developments across regional sites.
- Act as senior representative with governments, EPC contractors, regulators, and investors.
- Negotiate approvals, permits, and agreements with local and international stakeholders.
- Manage budgets, schedules, milestones, and performance metrics for financial accountability.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, technical specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, providing strategic solutions to senior leadership.
- Prepare progress reports, KPI updates, and risk assessments for executive review.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Oversee recruitment and training of site teams, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
- Master's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration (Bachelor's with extensive experience considered).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification highly preferred.
- 15+ years of senior project management experience in power generation or construction, with 7+ years in utility-scale energy projects.
- Proven success in delivering complex energy infrastructure projects in emerging or post-conflict markets.
- Expertise in EPC contracts, project financing, HSE compliance, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Dari, Pashto, or other regional languages is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site in remote project locations.
