Azizi Developments, a prominent Dubai-based real estate developer, is seeking a skilled Cost Control Engineer to manage and monitor the financial performance of high-value development projects. This role involves overseeing project budgets, tracking expenses, preparing cost forecasts, and ensuring timely reporting to maintain profitability and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control all project commitments against approved budgets.
- Verify purchase and hire requests for materials, equipment, and subcontractor work packages.
- Compare actual labor, staff, and equipment deployment against budgeted figures monthly, highlighting any variances.
- Analyze resource histograms and prepare accurate Cost to Complete (CTC) forecasts, identifying potential overruns early.
- Ensure correct implementation of cost control procedures at all stages, including SIV, MRV, and TV documentation.
- Track material consumption and maintain requisition follow-up logs.
- Prepare and submit detailed monthly cost analysis reports as per company standards.
- Conduct cost studies and case analyses as required.
- Support project managers and the cost control manager in preparing CTC reports for ongoing projects.
- Degree in Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in cost control within construction or real estate projects.
- Proficiency in MS Project, ERP systems, and Power BI is highly desirable.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
