The Waste Management Ranger plays a critical role in supporting regulatory enforcement and environmental protection across.
a minimum qualification of a high school certificate and 3 to 5 years of relevant field experience.
The Ranger is tasked with addressing key challenges such as illegal waste dumping and non-compliance with waste regulations.
Covering approximately 2,000 construction, demolition, and maintenance sites annually, this role is central to upholding waste management standards through routine monitoring campaigns.
The Ranger also supports cross-sector coordination and stakeholder engagement to strengthen and implement legislative and regulatory frameworks.
By issuing violations, managing reconciliations, and following up on enforcement actions, the Ranger actively contributes to maintaining environmental integrity, ensuring public health, and promoting greater compliance and awareness among waste producers and service providers.
