Context:Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Cooling Systems) Missions/Main Duties:
  • Responsible for the design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure all HVAC deisgn comply with Dubai Municipality/DEWA/ and other relevant local and international standards.
  • Supervise Back of house design work.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinery teams to resolve clashes, ensure spatial planning, and integrate sustainable energy- efficient solutions.
Profile/Skills:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Relevant certifications are advantageousExperience: Minimum 8 years of experience in design of HVAC and cooling systems, preferably for metro rail or large infrastructure projects.Background:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system components (chillers, AHUs, ductwork, etc.), BIM/design software proficiency, experience with Dubai’s regulatory processes, and BIM/design tool proficiency required.
  • Successful track record on rail and metro projects.
  • Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
  • Preferably with UAE experience, GCC experience would be advantageous.
