The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of relevant experience in ERP(SAP/Oracle) Indirect Tax technology having detailed and strong understanding tax touch points in S/4 HANA and Oracle including cloud-based environments with project management experience. And a detailed understanding of UAE e-invoicing regulations with regional/global experience in e-invoicing impact assessments and implementations. This role involves understanding/assessing the current tax technology solutions implemented in the ERPs (SAP/Oracle), assessing e-invoicing landscape of the systems, suggesting the best practices by collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering high-quality functional design and implementations.Job Description DetailsAs a tax technology professional, you will work as part of a team of analytical people, helping to solve tax business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this senior associate level include but are not limited to:4-6 years of experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in technology implementation projects including technology systems impact assessments and implementation support.
  • Strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle) - Configuration related to Tax Business Process (order-to-cash and procure-to-pay).
  • Configurations related to Tax Determination and Reporting.
  • Active Involvement in the Functional Design.
  • Deep critical thinking skills to assist with ideal future state solution for our clients.
  • Understanding of technology systems landscape for e-invoicing; recommend best practices in generating invoices with refined data.
  • Ability to translate the e-invoicing requirements into systems and applications in line with future state landscape.
  • Ability to independently work designing the solutions based on the requirement.
  • Perform Testing in ERP system and Tax Engines.
  • Tax Engine Experience (Vertex, Avalara, OneSource, Sovos).
  • Ability to identify root cause related to calculation issues in SAP or Oracle.
  • Ability to create these documentations: Business Requirements Documents, Functional Designs, Configurations, Test Scenarios and Training Guides.
  • Active Involvement in the Functional Design, Deep critical thinking skills to assist with ideal future state solution for our clients.
  • Ability to identify root cause related to calculation issues in SAP or Oracle
Required skills in any of the following areas:
  • SAP Tax Core and Tax Touchpoint modules (FI, SD & MM).
  • SAP Document Reporting and Compliance (DRC).
  • Oracle Financials (Tax Module).
  • Tax Engines (ONESOURCE-OITD; ONESOURCE-OITC; VERTEX; AVALARA, SOVOS, Tax Ware).
  • e-Invoicing applications functional knowledge and experience.
