As a Relationship Manager in Commercial Banking at FAB, your primary role is to manage a profitable customer portfolio, identifying opportunities to cross-sell banking solutions, originate credit proposals, and deepen client engagement at the executive level. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance and achieving sales and service targets.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a defined portfolio of commercial banking clients
  • Originate new business across lending and non-lending products
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure timely updates
  • Prepare and initiate credit proposals and conduct risk analysis
  • Ensure compliance with approved credit terms and operational policies
  • Maximize share of wallet across all banking products
  • Resolve escalated service issues and maintain high service quality
  • Prospect new business opportunities and expand existing relationships
  • Engage with senior executives (CEO/CFO) to provide banking insights
  • Monitor portfolio performance and maintain relationship health
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Banking (preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, or business banking
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar client-facing, borrowing portfolio role
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, client onboarding, and portfolio management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to meet revenue, service, and growth targets
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and lending practices
