- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical/business field.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and/or Business Analysis, including end-to-end implementation of BI systems mainly with SAP BW and Microsoft Fabric.
- Proven track record of leading BW/BI activities independently, especially in large-scale or multi-regional projects
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional design, data modelling, and analytics solution delivery.
- Hands-on experience in working with business stakeholders across functions such as Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience in driving user acceptance testing (UAT) and managing cross-functional project teams
- Experience in working within regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical, healthcare, or similar industries) is preferred
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence platforms and tools mainly Power BI, SAP BW and Microsoft Fabric.
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, SQL and ETL processes.
- At least 3+ years of experience in SAP CDS Views development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, ABAP, and OData services.
- Solid grasp of KPI development, dashboarding, and reporting frameworks.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, especially in Agile or hybrid environments.
- Understanding of business process mapping and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality management, and compliance standards in enterprise data environments.
- Experience in managing or interacting with cloud-based analytics platforms like Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
- Lead the full lifecycle of Business Intelligence system implementation—from planning and requirement gathering to deployment and post-go-live support across the EMENAC region.
- Ensure alignment of BI solutions with regional and global data strategies, incorporating scalability, reusability, and long-term support considerations.
- Conduct detailed workshops with business stakeholders to capture, analyse, and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement to inform solution design.
- Lead and manage the entire process of translating business needs into BI solutions through functional specifications and solution mapping, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
- Independently oversee all BI/BA activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and quality expectations, while minimizing the need for supervision.
- Ensure seamless integration of BI solutions by collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams, addressing both functional and non-functional requirements throughout the process.
- Provide expert guidance to the team on BI/BA best practices, ensuring consistent, high-quality output in all project phases.
- Define, document, and validate business KPIs, analytics requirements, reports, and dashboards to support informed decision-making, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive business and functional requirement documentation, obtaining formal sign-off from stakeholders to ensure clarity and agreement.
- Provide first-level design recommendations for BI solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements, user expectations, and align with the overall system architecture and goals.
- Track and monitor requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure scope, quality, and alignment.
- Facilitating seamless knowledge transfer to development and testing teams, providing ongoing support to ensure accurate understanding and execution.
- Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by collaborating with business users to define test scenarios, ensuring successful validation of solutions.
- Maintaining and overseeing the Data Warehouse environment, ensuring that all related interfaces and integrations function seamlessly and meet business requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal IT Quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including documentation, testing, validation, and audit readiness.
