As Stakeholder Manager, you will be the principal liaison between Parsons' rail project team and key government, regulatory, and community stakeholders. This includes coordinating approvals, resolving public affairs concerns, managing permits, and aligning with UAE transportation and planning authorities. Your role is essential in ensuring all project phases are delivered with full compliance and strategic stakeholder alignment.Core Duties
- Develop and implement stakeholder management and public engagement strategies
- Establish strong working relationships with authorities, municipalities, regulatory bodies, and local communities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholder communications
- Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and consultations throughout project lifecycle
- Handle all matters related to public relations, community concerns, and government liaison
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory frameworks, permitting procedures, and urban development guidelines
- Coordinate approvals, licenses, and permits across all authorities involved
- Track regulatory changes and their impact on the project
- Identify and mitigate stakeholder-related risks in collaboration with project leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in stakeholder engagement or government relations in the rail or infrastructure sectors
- Arabic speaker preferred for enhanced local communication
- In-depth understanding of UAE planning regulations, transport authority protocols, and project permitting
- Strong negotiation, diplomacy, and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous experience liaising with Abu Dhabi government bodies, municipalities, and community groups
- Excellent writing, presentation, and reporting abilities
