Overview of the role:
  • The primary responsibility of this role is to drive the execution of the product vision by championing the BYD and Polestar product portfolios and serving as the authentic voice of the customer throughout the organization. This includes ensuring the successful launch of the BYD product lineup in the UAE market and establishing a strong foundation for future growth and ensures that automotive products fulfill customer expectations while meeting financial goals and fostering brand growth in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
What you will do:
  • Identify target market segments and define the key customer profiles and vehicle applications for each product line.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle to adapt to changing consumer preferences, technological advancements, and competitive dynamics.
  • Developing and implementing effective product strategies and pricing models that maximize profitability and enhance market competitiveness.
  • Analyzing market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity, the manager defines product features, positioning, and pricing that align with company objectives
  • Maximize overall portfolio profitability by optimizing sales volume and profit per unit through strategic cost-to-value offerings, logical grade transitions, and purposeful allocation of VME (Value, Market, and Economics).
  • Leverage pricing tools effectively to support pricing decisions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to recommend product, pricing, and promotional strategies for new launches, and develop responsive actions to address sales and inventory challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with OEMs to represent the UAE market’s voice of the customer and influence decisions impacting Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility’s short-, mid-, and long-term business objectives.
  • Manage OEM inquiries and ensure timely responses to meet established deadlines.
  • Participate in OEM meetings to align product and brand strategies, maximizing influence and collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with sales operations, demand, and supply teams to secure the optimal order mix in support of the product lifecycle strategy
