Material Preservation Engineer

• Material Preservation Engineer cooperates with the construction, material control and Logistics groups to assure the timely and appropriate preservation of materials and equipment once received at site.
• He/she operates in compliance with the specifications, procedures, quality requirements and health/environmental/safety regulations during the course of activities.

• Coordinates preservation (and de-preservation as necessary) of materials and equipment in compliance with vendor and project and specifications and procedures.
• Requisitions preservation equipment and tools as necessary.
• Prepares and issues preservation reports as required by the field engineering manager.
• Initiates and maintains preservation recording.
• Requests, as necessary, relevant permits to perform preservation activities.

• A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any Engineering courses.

• Minimum of 10 year's work experience.
• Significant experience in in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects/ Refinery.

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, management skills.
• Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
