Job DescriptionThe Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a research associate starting January 2025 to work on a research project in the area of pervious concrete pavements. Suitable candidates should have a track record and significant contribution and co-authorship to Scopus indexed publications on the topics of: • The design and performance evaluation of pervious concrete pavements. • Testing and experimental investigation of pervious concrete mixes. • Specific knowledge on water quality parameters is required.Minimum QualificationApplicants must have a graduate degree (minimum Master of Science), preferably in civil engineering, with a specific focus on pervious pavement systems. Applicants need to have 4 positive responses to the following list to qualify for the position: 1. Do you have a graduate degree (MSc Minimum)? 2. Do you have experience in designing pervious concrete mixes? 3. Do you have experience in stormwater quality assessment? 4. Do you have at least one publication involving the performance of pervious pavements?Preferred Qualification
