Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Coordinate with site supervisors and other operators to ensure efficient workflow.
Monitor and adjust machinery settings to achieve desired output and efficiency.
Keep accurate records of materials moved and equipment usage.
Assist in training new operators on equipment handling and safety practices.
Conduct pre-operation inspections and report any malfunctions or safety issues.
Participate in site meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.

Preferred Candidate: * Proven experience as a shovel operator or similar role in construction or mining.
